Paula’s Bread: NutriMill Grain Grinder Giveaway!

Today we are excited to offer a fantastic giveaway from Paula’s Bread, our longtime sponsor and supplier of wonderful kitchen equipment. Paula would like to offer a NutriMill Grain Grinder to one special reader! This grain mill is valued at $269.99 and is a wonderful tool for your natural kitchen.

Paula’s Bread is a sweet family operated business offering a wealth of natural kitchen supplies to equip you for making your own homemade goodies. They have been a longterm distributor of the Bosch Universal Mixer and NutriMill grain grinders which are powerful reliable tools for any whole foods kitchen.

Paula shares, “It has been my passion to help the harried cook feed their family nutritionally while not overtaxing the cook. The kitchen products I carry are kitchen tools I personally use to help/enhance getting the finished food product done. I love helping others make great bread, saving the cook time and saving family’s money with all the wonderful things they can do to stretch their budget with a simple batch of bread.

I have owned a NutriMill for nearly 6 years now and it has served me faithfully in grinding all my grains into fresh whole grain flours to make our own baked goods.

It has a very trim design and is not huge and awkward making it easy to store on my kitchen counter tucked in the corner for easy access. It produces fresh flour very quickly providing me with a nice batch of flour in a matter of minutes. It actually stays relatively clean while grinding flour and does not have a huge off spray, thus providing easy clean up. Its works very well for grinding fresh flours for all your baking needs. It has a twenty cup bowl capacity, so you can prepare a lot of flour at once or any smaller amounts as well. The Nutrimill keeps your flour at temperatures (typically around 118 degrees) that protect the nutrients in your grains. Its new airflow design makes it the world’s coolest-running impact mill. It has a lifetime warranty including the stainless steel blades.

I would love the dehydrator. I have had my eye on that for awhile. I would use the grain mill to make flour for yummy bread!

A NutriMill has been on my wish list for years as well, and would be such an amazing win!! We’ve been using King Arthur’s White Wheat flour, but my picky husband would love a softer flour and I would love a more healthy one!

  4. Kim January 14, 2012 at 4:46 am #

I did go check out the website, and aside from the mill, I would have been torn between the stick blender and the electric kettle. We make a lot of tea and soup, so having either would be great. My friend grinds her own grain for bread, and it is delicious, some of the best. I would certainly grind flour for my bread if I had that grinder.

I have wanted the Nutrimill for over a year as well. My husband bought me my other favorite item in her store which is the Botch mixer 2 years ago, the mixer is amazing for doing large batches. My dream has been to grind my own sprouted wheat and whip up some fresh loaves for my family.

  7. Sheri January 14, 2012 at 4:43 am #

Wow! I love juicing, so the juicer would be the most used… or the dehydrator. So many choices. We’d use the mill for making our own bread – something we’ve wanted to do for a while now!

I love the stainless steel bakeware and would love to own some someday! I’d also love the nutrimill…I currently use a vitamix which works ok but I can only grind about 2 cups at a time and it’s not a very fine grind. Love all the stuff on her website!!

Oh wow! What a great giveaway. There’s lots of fun stuff on Paula’s site. I’ve been looking for stainless steel cookie sheets and noticed she had those. And the tortilla press caught my eye. And the electric kettle.

I love Paula’s Bread. My favorite product is the NutriMill! It has been on my wish list for over a year now, but as my family is currently working hard to become debt free, I haven’t been able to put it in our budget. I am transitioning my family to more clean (real) foods and I know that grinding my own grains would go a long way towards the goal of feeding my family nourishing foods. Would love to win!

  15. Kristina Faleskin January 14, 2012 at 4:31 am #

I signed up for the newsletters, and my favorite would be the grain grinder! I’ve started making homemade bread and pancakes among other things and have been researching how to grind my own grain. This mill would be an amazing blessing! Thanks for the chance to enter. :)

  16. Maria January 14, 2012 at 4:30 am #

I would love the grain grinder. I live overseas in Asia and we don’t always have ready access to flour. The grinder would be a huge blessing for grinding up rice into flour, ect. :)

  17. Pam M. January 14, 2012 at 4:29 am #

I would definitely use this grain mill for making sourdough everything. :0) I think my favorite product would have to be the dehydrator, though. I can think of tons of garden produce and herbs that would get dehydrated every year.

  18. Alissa Irwin January 14, 2012 at 4:15 am #

Oh I have been wanting a nutrimill! I bake bread all the time and would love to gring my own flours! Thanks!

  19. Katie L. January 14, 2012 at 4:14 am #

I don’t think I can pick just one! A dehydrator, grain mill, juicer- I would love all of them!

  20. Xanthia January 14, 2012 at 4:05 am #

My favorite item is the L’Equip Juicer. I Would use the Grain Grinder to kick start me on making homemade bread.

  21. Stacy January 14, 2012 at 3:59 am #

I would love a grain mill and I would also love to get one of their juicers. I would use this grain mill to mill my own gluten free flours.

Ironically, the product I would most like to have IS the grain mill. Have had my eye on getting one for over a year now and would love to have this one!!

I too would love to get a dehydrator. I’ve been looking at the possibility so that I can make my own jerky without cooking the nutrition out of it. The flour mill would also be terrific. I am on a very restricted diet and use my Vitamix to grind some of my gluten free grains (rice, buckwheat, coconut). This is fine for some things, but it’s only does a coarse grind and the grains can get fairly hot.

I have been wanting to get a grain mill. I also like the dehydrators. So many neat things I am having a hard time deciding which I like best.

  28. Amy January 14, 2012 at 3:36 am #

The mini juicer is pretty cute :) I’d love to start grinding my own grain but the mills are so pricey that I haven’t done so yet.

  29. katina January 14, 2012 at 3:32 am #

I don’t know what my favorite product would be but I would really like a grinder so that I could make a better tasting and more nutritional bread!

  30. Theresa January 14, 2012 at 3:28 am #

I would have a difficult time choosing which product when they all are desired. The grain mill would be a good start. I’ve been wanting one for a long time.

  31. lara fraser January 14, 2012 at 3:19 am #

i’d pick up a bosch compact mixer and sell my big one…i make bread but never enough to use it to capacity…but if i won a grinder i just might make more healthy breads…something more exciting than white…

I would love the grain grinder- I’ve actually dreamed of owning one for a couple years now. I would prepare nutritious breads and food for my family.
    Thanks for this opportunity.

  36. Erin January 14, 2012 at 2:48 am #

A dream come true it would be to have a grain mill! I have been making bread for my family of six for years now, and the addition of a bread maker and grain mill would be such a huge blessing!

Yay! I’ve been wanting a grain mill for awhile now, and I would dearly love the Nutrimill (OK, and maybe one of the Bosch mixers) ;) . But I would love the Nutrimill because I’ve been wanting to try my hand at some nut flours, like almond flour. I’ve been seeing some great recipes for these flours!

  39. shellie January 14, 2012 at 2:32 am #

There are SO MANY awesome products – how do you choose just one?! From the dehydrators to juicers to grain grinders to mixers – it’s all great! I would LOVE the NutriMill because my son has food allergies and some other food challenges, and we are working very hard to offer him proper and complete nutrition from whole foods. A grain grinder would greatly increase our ability to do so, without having to shell out the huge bucks store bought flours.

This is the first time I’ve checked out this site and I really liked it! I have been thinking about and wanting to begin grinding my own flour for the past few months. I am really interested in the juicers and dehydrators but of all the items I think the grain mill would be my top pick! I love making home made bread and would love using it to make my own flour. I wonder if this could also make almond flour? I am really excited about this giveaway – what a blessing to someone! Thank you.

i’ve been dreaming of the grain mill for quite some time. i’m looking for a lighter whole wheat bread that grinding your own flour produces. so that is my favorite product and i hope i win it!

Just visited the site again. I’d love to try and new stick blender or a rice cooker but the grain mill is what I really like because right now I’m grinding my grain in a blender because thats all I have. How nice it would be to make real flour instead of meal!

The tortilla press would be great to own because I was making my own tortillas for awhile but have gone into a season of buying them. I’d love to start making them again (using a press instead of rolling pin).

We’ve been using whole wheat flour (or white whole wheat) almost exclusively for almost 2 years now, so the next step would be grinding our own! This prize would be perfect!

I am currently saving my pennies for one of these, so winning one would be just fabulous! It is incredibly hard to choose one thing to be interested in on her site, I would like one of everything please… but if I had to choose… the grain mill would be it.

  50. Karen January 14, 2012 at 1:22 am #

I think the dehydrators look neat. I would use the grain mill to make flour. You recommended the Blendtec (and previously stated you use it to grind wheat) but the flour is so coarse. I would like to try this to get a softer flour.
