Women of God magazine was launched by Trillia Newbell this last year with the vision and mission to provide real life encouragement for real issues for women of all ages. It was birthed out of a desire to provide a web site that featured Christian writers, bloggers, and musicians. It is not a news source, but rather a place to gather as real women to address real issues, around their motto: “Real women, Real issues, Real God.” You will find a wealth of stories about women who have had real struggles, real battles, and the greatness of God displayed through them. You will also find interviews with the authors of wonderful books, fun recipes, tips for the home, and even fashion suggestions.
Some of the recent features on the site have included one family’s journey to become foster parents, learning how to include your kids in the kitchen, fashion tips from a fashion blogger, grace to live intentionally everyday, articles on homeschooling, working from home, and interviews with godly women such as Rachel Jankovic (author of Loving the Little Years) and much more grace filled articles to inspire and encourage you in your womanhood.
Today, we are excited to give away three wonderful books that have greatly impacted my life! Trillia has recently interviewed each of the authors on WOG magazine to hear more of the heart and mission behind these beautiful books.

I was totally new to this site but really enjoyed skimming the articles, especially the one about Kids in the Kitchen. It was as if the author had witnessed life in my home as she described the feeling of her daughter bringing one of the wooden chairs into the kitchen to “help.” What a good reminder of the community of women…across the miles, across life stages yet in shared experiences. What good reminders to encourage my perspective as I love the little ones the Lord has entrusted to me. I also liked the 365 days of pictures album. Again, another encouragement to take advantage of these days. Thank you!
I have Ann’s book (fantastic) and would be specially interested in Grace for the Good Girl.
I read a couple of the articles and found Unfolding Grace to be most uplifting today. I struggle with this as we all do. I would enjoy Grace for the Good Girl.

Maison & Oh Baby are my two favorite sections of this site…being a new mommy with another little one on the way and a husband to wholeheartedly serve and love in the process can be overwhelming, not to mention keeping track of doing all the day to day tasks that are necessary for a smooth-running home. These articles are very uplifting. I’d like One Thousand Gifts.

I appreciated the book interviews plus the peek into how an “anti-homeschooling gal” ended up homeschooling after all. (We’ve been debating which educational route will be best for our family in a few years.) Oh, and I love that she titled her Home section “Maison”–just because she liked how it sounded in French.

I went to the WOG website and immediately was captivated by the interview with the author of Grace for the Good Girl. I had not heard of this book before today. We just read Because He Loves Me in our womens time and it was wonderful. So hard to choose, but I’d really appreciate One Thousand Gifts. Having our three amazing kids just over three years apart, my life and days are full of blessings. There is, however, not much sleep and I find this is often how satan finds his way in my thoughts, hearts, parenting. I would love to read One Thousand Gifts to help combat satan and enjoy all the amazing gifts I have right in front of my sleep deprived eyes
