I just got home this afternoon from the Indianapolis True Woman conference. It was an incredible experience. I was expecting a very uplifting experience and was also looking forward to the Getty’s(my worship team sings 6-7 of the Getty songs). I came away a changed woman. The Lord revealed many areas in my life where I am failing as a wife and mother and gave me a strong desire to change. I want to become a True Woman whose only desire is to serve my Lord and Savior. If you can possibly go, please do.
I love reading your blog and now I know another reason that I like you so much. Cause you’re a Revive Our Hearts fan like myself. My hubby just surprised me and is sending me with 2 dear friends to Indy for the conference. I am so thrilled. He did the same thing in ’08- the conference was amazing!!

I would love to attend the one in Dallas. I checked and tickets from PDX are about $350 and I’m not sure about the hotel costs. At this point it’s totally not feasible from a financial standpoint, but, the Lord is good and I know that if it is His will, He will provide a way. My husband and I are praying. Hopefully I can go and see you there

Before reading the whole thing, I just saw the title of this post and squealed thinking I’d get to meet you there (’cause I’m going too!) but… then I read on and realized – I’m in Ohio and going to the one in Indianapolis and you won’t be at the one. :-/ But still, I’m really excited that you get to go to one too and I’m very much looking forward to the one in Indianapolis. I went to the one in Chicago a couple years ago and my heart was so challenged and encouraged!

I actually live in FW and SO, SO, SO want to go to this. Quite a few of my friends from church are going, but I am helping a friend decorate for her wedding that Saturday morning. Also, I have a nursling that I wouldn’t be able to leave all day…so the hubs and I aren’t sure we could swing a schedule to make it work out. This is going to be such a fantastic, God honoring conference. Enjoy it!
By the way, if you need a place to go to church on Sunday I know of a wonderful, little place.

I’m planning to attend the Indianapolis True Woman Conference. We sing tons of the Getty’s songs during worship time. I can’t wait to worship in person with them. Of course, can’t wait for the speakers either.
This sounds amazing! Joni Earekson Tada spoke at our church years ago, and she is absolutely incredible. It was an honor to hear her speak. I wish I could go!

Oh, this sounds wonderful! I just finished reading Nancy’s book “A Quiet Place of Rest” (which includes writings from some of the other speakers, as well). I would love to attend; however, in this season of unemployment, purchasing plane tickets, etc. is really not manageable. (I’m also still praying about sponsorship for attending Relevant, as well!)

I live in Ft. Worth and really want to attend! We will see if my son (7 months) will take a bottle by then!!
Why not bring the baby? i am sure they will have accommodations for nursing and such.
This code is such a blessing to our church! We were going to buy tickets on Monday and had been trying to get enough people for the discounted rate (before that deadline) but were unable to because of our small size. We hope to see you there!!!!
I attended the True Woman Conference in 2008! It was awesome. Course, I was 9 weeks pregnant with my twins and felt green the whole time, but God spoke to me anyway!
Hey, I was there too and I was 6 weeks pregnant…. but was feeling green at the conference as well. That makes me smile that we were both there with babes in utero. I loved the conference in ’08! Truly a remarkable time in my life!!
I would love to attend – I’m actually flying out to Dallas the week before for a marketing conference! Wish I could stay but can only be away from the kids for so long.

Lindsay, I made up my mind last night to go to the Fort Worth conference! I would love to cling on to your group. I’ve been reading your blog for 2 years now. Only commented a handful of times. Perhaps we’ll meet sometime in Ft Worth. Thanks for extending this invitation. I needed to save that $20 and can’t leave my kids long enough to volunteer!
