Thanks to The Cozy Bunny for your sponsorship of Passionate Homemaking for the month of March!
The Cozy Bunny sells high quality natural wool mommy and baby products including wool blankets, diapers, changing pads, crib bumpers, and so much more.
They are offering a small wool puddle pad (size 18” x 27”, $14.99 value) to one lucky winner this week! What’s a puddle pad? Here’s their description:
“Our wool puddle pads are very functional & versatile. No need for the plastic puddle pad to lay under your baby, just use a wool one instead.
But won’t it get dirty? Well, yes, but if it gets wet, simply let air dry & if it gets soiled, just spray off, use soap if needed. Very easy & best of all, wool is very absorbent & antimicrobial, so it won’t get smelly. They have many uses; cover your lap, floor, shoulder, wherever your baby’s little booty happens to be.”
Sounds like an excellent alternative to those plastic diaper bag changing pads!

I’d love this for my little 2 month old baby!
This would go to my son & daughter-in-law who are expecting in the fall! Thanks!
I misplaced my travel changing pad. Love this product.
Love this! I would love to win one of these! My dd is officially day time potty trained, but night time is still an issue. I would love to have one of these to lay under her at night for those times we don’t wake her up in time!
a puddle pad!? love it. expecting baby #3 any day now. this would be a perfect addition to my diaper bag. i’ve gone lots more natural since my last 2…so this is just the thing for me! & i love that it’s naturally microbial! i never liked the plastic changing pads anyway…so bulky.
This is really cool! I would use it for multiple things. I would use it to put under my son who is potty training (at night), put it in my diaper bag as a changing mat, in the baby’s crib, on the floor by my kitchen sink and lots of other places!
I would definitely use this as a changing pad. I currently use a towel, and perhaps the softness of this pad would keep my 10 month old from sprinting away on all fours every time I change her. Perhaps I need a better grip, perhaps she needs more patience, or perhaps we need a more comfortable changing option!
I might use it for underneath my little leaker when in the jog stroller.
I would use it in the crib. Would save me having to wash the crib sheets so much!
I don’t have a changing table – I use a mat placed on my bed, so I would probably use it for that.
My 5 month old son wets through his diaper and pj’s every night and I would love to put something like this under him while he sleeps.
The only thing I don’t have is a “puddle pad” or the traditional crib mattress cover for our new baby coming any day now. My boys both have theirs still on their beds.
Besides using it in a crib, I think that it would be fantastic just on the floor so that baby can “air out” a bit…every baby’s bum needs to breathe!
I would love to use this night time changes since it usually takes place on our bed. Don’t want any leaks!
This would be great on the changing table!
I am due to have my first baby at the end of May, so I am sure to have many uses for this soon. Actually I am registered for something similar (although much more expensive for some reason?)I think I will need a few as I plan on practicing elimination communication (diaperless baby).
The first thing that comes to mind is in the diaper bag, but other uses I could see: beside me in bed where our new addition will likely sleep, anywhere you are doing diaper changes, bouncy seats/swings/etc.
I would use it on our bed at night. We have a baby coming in July and we just bought a new bed – I would love to keep the bed clean and tbe baby in bed with us.
We are co-sleeping with baby #4, so this would come in really handy for use under baby on our bed!
This would be a great tool to use when giving my son’s bum some “air time” when he has a diaper rash!
I love the idea of using it in bed at night so I don’t have to worry about wearing breast pads or soaking the sheets!
If I won this I would give it to a new mother friend of mine. She wants to EC and I think this might come in handy!
I would love to use this pad all the time, but especially since we live overseas, when we are away from home- changing diapers or as a extra pad for accidents in bed. I have 2 children and a 3rd on the way… so I think it would be put to good use!
Oh the things this could be used for… to name them would be tiring!!! How about for a potty learning toddler at night?!?
We will be traveling a lot this summer and it would be great to put under my son between him and the car seat in case he has an accident or after to keep dry. He is under two any fully potty trained but accidents still happen:-)
I would probably use it as a portable changing pad for my new little guy. Or as a place for him to lay when he has a diaper rash that needs to air out.
Hi Lindsey,
I would use it for travel and use when I change her. Hope to win!! Thanks for your blog.
I don’t have a baby yet, but I’d use it as a great gift!
What an awesome product. I hate plastic changing pads, so usually use a blanket, but this would work so much better.
Hi, thanks for the offer! I would give this to a friend who is due with her first child in June.
I would give this to my sister, who is due with her first in late May.
It would be a must have item in my diaper bag. We travel often and visit friends on the weekend and it much easier to change my babies diaper wherever I need to and not worry about making a mess. I would also put it in the crib when the baby is sick or has a runny nose just so the sheets and mattress pad don’t get soaked!
gosh, there are so many ways i could put this to use – diaper changing pad, burp cloth, sheet saver…
i would use this as a changing table pad and to “air” my baby girl’s bum!!
Love wool! I would use this under my daughter when she is going diaperless.
I would use this in our bed at night, because I nurse lying down and don’t use a nursing bra at night (too much effort) so when she falls asleep and detaches, milk gets all over. I end up washing the sheets more than I should because there’s a huge crinkly milk stain where she and I sleep.
I don’t have kids, but I would use it to let dishes drip-dry.
This would be awesome for my 7mth old who is always drooling and spitting up on my shoulder, and a good plus for mom is it would look better than the stinky cloth diaper I use as a burp rag now
I would put this in my diaper bag. With baby number 2 on the way and Bekah not out of diapers yet (she will be 1 on Friday), I will definitely need something like this and I haven’t found a good alternative to the plastic ones! Thanks!
I would definitely use this under our baby and over the crib sheet. There is nothing more difficult than changing a crib sheet, so any way I can delay it makes me
I could definitely use this in our family bed, we’re currently trying to come up with solutions to this night time diapering situation. Thank you!
The puddle pad would be useful for many things including use as a burping pad.
With baby on the way in a month, I would love to have a waterproof pad for our bassinet!
Oh my goodness – one word. LAP. Have had waaaaayyyy to many ‘incidents’ with fault designs there.
i’m not sure if i would keep it for me in hopes of baby number 3
or i might give to my best friend who is due with her first. i’ve not used any wool products yet, but would love to try…
In the diaper bag for a changing pad, or in our bed at night so I don’t have to wear a bra/nursing pads to sleep.
I would use it to take along in our jogger stroller – we only have one vehicle so we walk everywhere we go and that would be awesome to take along on our adventures!
I 2nd the crib idea! thanks!

I would love to win this!
Would be perfect “air time” blanket for our 9 month old twins. Both get terrible diaper rashes and need all the time out of diapers they can get!
Thanks for the giveaway!
I would use it as a changing pad…although I’m sure I could find many ways to use it with my 5 month old daughter
