Have a date night at home! Set-up a card table in the bedroom w/a pretty table cloth, and napkins, candles etc. Set the lights on dimmer, have hubby instill a dimmer if you don't already have one, or even off! And just eat by candle light.

Then prepare both of your favorite meals. Make it a 4 course meal, it's cheaper, and the baby will be home! (hopefully sleeping)

Date nights don't have to be out. It's a luxury, we are lucky to have family near us to enjoy a night out, or a weekend getaway.

Then after dinner, you can throw some big fluffy pillows on the floor on a blanket and eat dessert!

I am so blessed that my husband really likes trying new foods. You are very blessed that your husband supports your cooking at home - drinking green smoothies, etc. To have someone that appreciates you and what you do is so sustaining.

Do you have friends that your daughter plays with? Could you create a babysitting co=op? Everyone takes turns sitting one night a month? I am blessed that I was volunteering at the hospital before Leah and one of my co-workers has been a great babysitter for me.

Hmmm...that sounds good. Looks like a cute little restaurant. It must be nice to find a restaurant that serves food made with more natural ingredients.

Such fun photos! Thanks for sharing.

Sounds like a great time! I wish they had restaurants like that here in Ohio.

How are you guys getting out for a date night? More specifically, are you pumping milk for Titus? Do you have family nearby or are you hiring a babysitter?

We are in desperate need of the occasional date night, but no family nearby and no leads on good sitters...and it has to be someone really good for me to trust them with my kids. I don't get enough milk out of my hand pump, and don't want to give Bethany formula. She's right at that separation anxiety age where she won't even tolerate staying with Daddy while I run to the store. Anyone have any tips for getting in a date night, especially if you aren't fortunate enough to have family nearby?

Mmm, I love that place. Hey, I just got my soap nuts and I love them (and I love how much $ it will save us). :)

Take care.
