Amazon Organic Grocery Sale!

Hey friends…I want to thank you all for your sweet comments, prayers and support during this time. The Lord has been so good in strengthening me and allowing me to rest, take my fish oil, and allow my hormones to get more balanced. My computer stopped working this last week at the same time, so I think it was God’s providence telling me to take a break. ;) I apologize for not being able to reply to all your comments and questions…that is the reason! In the meantime, I am writing from my husband’s computer real quickly to let you know of a great sale on Amazon for the natural and organic grocery store!

Congratulations on baby Titus (Im a little behind) I am soooo excited for you!! he is so beautiful and you are so blessed!

I have to echo Kelley that rest is key right now. Rest in the beginning is much made up for later. I have had pregnancies where I wasn’t able to rest and it took sooo long to “recover”

Hormonal mood swings I am no stranger to :) I use progesterone cream, coconut oil (when I can remember, and 3,6,9 Omega) It really really helps me. And occasional St Johns Wort tea.

May I give my thoughts on Amazon? I have bought from Amazon grocery, but only with the sale codoes. We have gotten Annies Mac n cheese (but we can find them at Big lots for 65 cents a box which is cheaper) we have also gotten cases of Evirokids cereal. Coconut oil is good. Usually it is books that we buy from Amazon…..

I have a question about fish oil for you- what kind do you take? (brand and dose) What do you feel like its helping you with? The emotional-ness of it all? I know, you’re supposed to be resting and here I am bugging you with a question, lol. I have a hard time with the mood swings and everything after having a baby and this has me interested. Thanks!

I am using Nature’s Mighty 3′s fish oil as it is a high quality oil provided through my chiropractor (who just happens to be my BIL). It is extremely beneficial for balancing your hormones. I noticed an immediate difference. I take 1 tsp per day. Hope that helps!

I’ve never bought groceries from Amazon… unless vanilla beans count! :)

What are the best deals you’ve seen/gotten or the best prices you’ve found at Amazon vs. other stores or Azure? :)

Although I have not looked through their whole grocery selection, it does appear like they have good prices for wholesome sweetener products, raw honey, and coconut oil, for example.

I actually did get some Annie’s Mac N Cheese in April for DH (he won’t give up his boxed mac!) for $.90 a box. :) Other than that I haven’t been able to get any other deals but that was exciting for me! :)

    Beautiful pictures!! :)

I have purchased Kashi Pilaf and coconut oil from Amazon with great success. Great deals to be had there!

He is adorable. Congratulations, enjoy every minute of his sweetness. They all grow up so fast. God’s goodness is lent to us in these little packages. Richly you are blessed!

How sweet!!Keep resting and healing. We tend to think that we should be up doing right after delivery, but when our placenta detaches from us it leaves an area the size of a dinner plate that needs time to heal. You are a blessing, allowing young women to see into your life….you are Virtuous!
    Now on to Amazon!!
I found it to be very expensive to purchase! I purchased 5 boxes of organic oat meal and received free shipping and $25 off and it was still $5 a box before tax!! To much….so I cancelled.I got the same oatmeal for $1.50 a box at Walmart before my $1 coupon so 4 boxes for $2!!!

I highly recommend amazon grocery. We buy quite a few things there since we are gluten, soy, and dairy free. When amazon runs a sale, it is significantly cheaper than Whole Foods, and if you buy more than $25, you get free shipping!

I am not part of a Costco, so Amazon has been my “warehouse” shopping experience. You really need to pay attention to the price comparisons of each item. Some things are much cheaper buying in a case from Amazon, others I can find less expensively at our Whole Foods. One thing that is almost always a great deal are any products from Seventh Generation. I sign up for the “Subscribe and Save” option (which you can cancel at any time…and it’s very easy to do) This is where the best prices are. You get an additional discount, plus free shipping of course.
The only downside to the whole thing is having to buy a case quantity, which we sometimes can’t do. But I have overall found it to be easy to use and a good money saver. (Plus, it is nice to have the convenience!!)
Since you are in the Seattle area you probably have a lot more options. My aunt and uncle in Seattle buy all their groceries from Amazon Grocery, even organic produce. They get a weekly delivery to their door and LOVE it. Especially with two small children! Unfortunately, here in St Louis we don’t have that available to us!

I love the new pictures…what a beautiful baby!

What are some items you would buy from there?

Probably wholesome sweetener products, raw honey, coconut oil, hempmilk, etc. are a few things I would purchase from their grocery choices.
