After our recent discussion on cloth diapering, Fuzzi Bunz donated a 3 pack of their pocket perfect size diapers to give away to one lucky reader! (I want to win them myself!
The winner may select what size and colors they would like.
I personally have not used fuzzi bunz as of yet, but I have heard rave reviews of their durability and perfect fit sizing. I personally think pocket diapers are the easiest cloth diapering system as they dry very fast, rarely leak, and come in an assortment of cute colors. Read more about the Fuzzi Bunz features here.

If you are using safety pins to fasten the sides of your diaper, always be sure to place your fingers between babies hip and where the pin will come through. I stuck my baby brother, or sister, a really good one one time, can you imagine how much that would suck!!! Ouch!
air- or line-dry your diapers. they’ll lost longer.
and consider using flats as the bulk of your diapering. they get so clean, dry in a flash, and are totally versatile.
I don’t cloth diaper but would love to give it a try. Especially for nights and weekends, when DD isn’t at day care…
Thanks, Lindsay!
I’m afraid I don’t have any tips since I have never used cloth diapers, but I am beginning to research and hope to make the change before my second child arrives.
Doing my cloth diaper research now, BEFORE little ones are on the way… Anyone tried Dappy Diapers? Got a great deal on a whole lot of them at a yard sale.
I love Fuzzi Bunz. Thank you for the give-a-way.
My best cloth diapering tip is to set up a changing station right in the bathroom. It makes EVERYTHING easier. The transition to potty-training is great this way. The child can see and understand where these “items” belong much earlier than I ever expected! Small bathroom- no problem a changing mat on the floor and diaper container is all you need. I also use cloth wipes. I cut up extra baby towels that I was given and I keep them next to the sink so I can wet them with warm water and just wipe (no harsh chemicals needed). Really gals, this is so simple, I love it and wish that I had started out this way. You’ll be surprised at how easy this one small location change can be!! Blessings!
I have just started to use cloth diapers, so far I love them! I only have 3 BumGenius diapers so far, but I am very interested in trying different brands. My cloth diapers have never leaked, but my disposables leak often. I don’t have any advice or tips yet, except I noticed that there is free shipping for laundry detergent at the cotton babies website right now. (Coupon code is “GOODWASH”.) So if you have trouble finding approved laundry detergent in your town, you can order it online with free shipping!
One of the ways we have made cloth diapering work for us is by buying enough diapers that we don’t have to wash them every day. We wash every 3 days or so now that our daughter is older and that makes the chore of cloth diapering much less time-consuming. Washing this many diapers at once also saves on water since we are washing full loads of laundry.
Air drying the diapers.
What a great giveaway!!
Yay for Fuzzi Bunz! I used the same four Fuzzi Buns diapers on my middle son for nap/night times for two years before they started leaking. They are a great diaper. The microfleece did bother my boys skin though, so I have switched to organic Loveybums fitteds and wool covers. Loveybums are the best yet for our family after 3 1/2 years of trying all kinds of dipaers and covers . . . highly recommend Loveybums! Have fun cloth diapering!
I LOVE Fuzzi Bunz, with my second child I switched to cloth. I have tried a few different kinds and FB are my fav so far.
I have never tried cloth diapers and am very excited to test these out. Thanks for the giveaway!
My third baby is due in April and I finally think i want to give cloth diapers a try. i’ve always wanted to but i was scared of extra laundry, to tell you the truth. i think i’ve gotten over my laziness.
I have heard great things about the new version of FB. I’d love to try them out! We use bumGenius pockets at night, and prefolds in the day.
I’d love to win! My favorite diaper tip is to go to http://www.sewdiapers.com for their incredibly wonderful, free tutorials on making all kinds of cloth diapers. I make the pocket style diapers and they work really well! I picked up Fuzzi Bunz at a yard sale last year and LOVE them!
I don’t have kids yet but am planning ahead and would like to be entered if that’s ok. I don’t have any tips about diapering, period! lol.
My best tip is to use Charlie’s Soap for washing. It is the best I’ve found so far.
I love cloth diapering! I have two boys. I did not cloth diaper with my first but wish I had. I was intimidated by the thought of cloth diapering with the first. I did not know anyone who was doing it. Then my friend started with her first baby and told me how very easy it was. She gave me so many great tips and answered so many questions. My second son is one year old and I’m convinced that cloth diapering is the way to go. With my first son all the newborn poop would explode out of the back of his diaper, no matter what brand I used. I didn’t have that problem with my second while using cloth. It saved me so much time spent washing dirty poopy clothes. Even my husband loves the cloth diapers and he changes my son a lot. There are so many great websites out there that answer so many questions that I would recommend cloth diapers to anyone. I suggest using cloth wipes with your cloth diapers. I think that it is easier to use them than using disposables if you are cloth diapering. I wet my diapers with a squeeze bottle when I am ready to change my son. It is quicker than a spray bottle and easy to control. You can get one from a hair supply store. You can keep plain water in the bottle or put your own cloth diaper wipe solution in. Cloth diapering is so much easier than people think.
I love cloth diapering as well! We use cloth wipes and enjoy having them handy by putting them in a wipe warmer with water already in it, my son I am sure appreciates the warmth on his tushy! I use Bumgenius nd love them but have heard great things about fuzzibunz as well and am planning to get a few for my son
Just looking into making the switch to cloth…don’t have any helpful tips, yet, but wondering where to start!
I would dearly love to give these to my friend who is expecting! She’s planning to use cloth!
I love cloth diapering and FuzziBunz! My daughter is 11 months and has worn FuzziBunz since she was a few weeks old. I find that they hold messy things in better than the disposables (Seventh Generation) that I use when I am washing. I wash mine on the prewash cycle with cold water, then a hot wash with Charlie’s Soap and a vinegar rinse, then finally a 2nd rinse with just water and tea tree oil! I usually tumble them in the dryer for just a few minutes on air dry and then hang to finish drying. I don’t know what I would do without cloth diapers and wipes!
My CD tip is to have two diaper bags and always keep one packed and ready (complete with new wet bag) so that you know you’re fully stocked and ready to go at the drop of a hat.
I haven’t tried cloth diapers yet, but would love to.
I love love love Fuzzi Bunz! Thanks for doing this!

I would love to win these diapers for my 8 month old daughter! I am currently using my handmade cloth diapers and need MORE cloth diapers! My sister in law uses the FuzziBunz on her youngest child and is happy with them. They don’t leak which is in my opinion is a BIG PLUS about cloth diapers! CD tip: Don’t leave them on too long or you will have wet clothes on your baby. They are NOT like disposable diaper, it doesn’t hold as much, but cloth is soo much better for the baby’s bum! Good for the environment, free of chemicals, cotton feels better than sitting on plastic/paper diapers.
I Love cloth diapering! Just today I was telling a friend that it’s much easier than I thought it would be! (Just like making my own baby food was…) After doubling our family garbage in the first weeks of disposable diapering I knew I wanted to do something different. And you can’t deny the savings over buying disposables. Sure, there’s a big upfront cost, but you save hundreds if not thousands in the end.
I’m also all about line drying the covers and sticking the inserts in the dryer, it seems to keep them longer. I liked the tip to re-do the elastic because it is wearing on some, I’ll try that. I’m going to get more diapers for my son (the new one-size Fuzzi Bunz) and soon will have a second child in the same set of diapers. I’m hooked!
Also, I like Fuzzi Bunz best because you don’t have to worry about the velcro wearing out or making sure it’s attached. It is nice to have some velcro for intimidated babysitters though. Try cloth, you’ll love it!
I love these Fuzzi Bunz although I’ve never tried them. I’m one of those mamas who tried to give cloth diapering a go but failed and wants to try again but needs the push…
I’m a grandmother who would love to try the FuzziBunz diaper on my granddaughter. Yrs. ago I used cloth diapers on my children – this was the era of plastic pants. For each child I purchased 4 doz (the large unfolded type) and used them until they were ready for training pants. Then the diapers became cleaning cloths. Thanks for the giveaway!
We love using cloth diapers- they have really worked well for our family. We use fuzzi bunz and they’re my favorite for many reasons- easy, durable, cute, and hard for your toddler to take off by themself- invaluable! My tip is to use good detergent and if they start to stink use a drop of Dawn in the washing cycle.
I love Fuzzi Bunz! It’s so easy. You save a bundle of money. Its great for the environment! Its expensive to buy them at first, but my daughter has been using the same 6 pocket diapers for almost 2 years. They still look brand new. I started late with cloth diapering my daughter but when we have a second child we will be using Fuzzi Bunz from birth.
I haven’t cloth diapered yet, waiting for baby to be done incubating. =) But I’m looking forward to trying it out!
My sister is getting ready to have her baby and I want to give them to her to turn her on to cloth diapers!
I would love to win these. I buy eco friendly disposables, but often think about making the plunge into cloth. I have tried Seventh Generation, Nature Babycare, and Natural Choice disposables. For a long time I used Seventh Generation, which are the most identical to regular disposables. Recently I switched to Nature Babycare which are 60% biodegradable. I like them a lot and they do a great job. I buy my diapers through Amazon with their subscribe and save option. It makes them affordable and I get free shipping.
I’m just gearing up for cloth diapering with baby number two. I’d also like to put my one year old in them to give it a try. Hope I win!
I would love these. I have never used cloth diapers before, but recently I came across this brand. Ever since I’ve wanted to try them.
I started using cloth when I was pregnant with my second, and I love cloth! I’ve only tried prefolds and fitted, but I’m thinking of trying pocket for night time. My best advice? Try sprinkling a little baking soda and lavender oil in the bottom of the diaper pail to help with the odor.
I use an old laundry detergeant bin from Costco to store the dirty diapers until laundry day! Works just as well as a diaper genie I think:) Great giveaway!
I have also found cloth diapers on craigslist
I have never used cloth diapers, but with baby #4 on the way I am considering it. This would definitely be a push in the right direction. Thank you for the opportunity to win!
I don’t really have any tips yet. I’m due in one month and want to try cloth diapering this baby
Sunshine makes diapers happy.
I’d love to be entered in your giveaway!

I have used cloth off and on for years and will be using them with my 10th baby. When I am not using cloth I buy eco friendly disposables. I go between 7th Generation or Natural Babycare. I love Fuzzi Bunz and would love to add them to my diapering stash!!
Ooo! I’d love to try Fuzzi Buns. Enter me! I’m currently using One-size Happy Heiny diapers (not all the time, though)
Sometimes my diapers need an extra cleanse, so I do a rinse with vinegar. I think the next best thing for those who like the idea of cloth diapers, but love the convenience of ’sposies would be to use g-diapers. They have disp. inserts which are compostable that go into cute cloth covers!
I would love to cloth diaper if we have another one. My youngest is almost potty training age, so I can’t see investing in cloth diapers for him. I wish I had thought about it sooner!
