I made the fudge yesterday. My kids loved it. I used sucanat instead of honey. It was actually better today. We made the pretzels today although they were not very pretty, they tasted great. Kids loved them as well. Thanks so much for your site!!!

No, I did not soak the flour as it was my first time making those pretzels. I will be experimenting with it in the future though.

I made the fudge yesterday (valentine's day) for my husband) (saving the little scraps for me :) and it turned out great! He is a huge dark chocolate fan, and i would label this more as chocolate squares than fudge (though it is creamy). Anyway just wanted to thank you for the idea. I used honey and wondered if i would like the flavor combo, but it came out perfect! (i did use a little less than a 1/2 C. of honey and it was great) I was out of money for a "gift" and this idea let me use what i had on hand (and it was so fast!) so i was able to give him a little suprise anyway. Just wanted to share my enthusiastic thanks! :)

I made the pretzels this morning and they turned out great!
I put salt instead of sugar-cinnamon on top because my hubby prefers them this way.
Thank you for sharing! :)

So, I just made the fudge (by far the most delicious and easy dessert I've ever made!) but used cane sugar as I don't have enough honey. Turned out great, and I heated a small, heart-shaped cookie cutter in hot water and cut them out and put them in a fancy tin for my hubby. Of course, all those nice little leftover pieces are for me! ;) I can't wait to give them to him in the morning - thanks for the idea!

Thank you for the link to the fudge recipe! I usually make fudge for gifts, but my youngest son is allergic to milk and therefore can't try it. I will have to try making this for him!
