Bugaloo Kids Giveaway!

Appalled by the exorbitant prices of soft sole leather baby shoes (a.k.a Robeez), my cousin Heidi, a graphic designer here in the NW, decided to take the matter into her own hands. Now, after two years of hard work, that dream has become a reality as she launches her own baby shoe website: Bugaloo Kids. All custom designs by Heidi, the shoes are extremely affordable at $15 a pair, with free shipping if you purchase three or more pairs. Click here to visit. These are wonderful for a Christmas gift or upcoming baby shower!

Heidi has done a fabulous job designing these shoes! We absolutely love our pair and Karis gets complements wherever we go. They are comfortable, easy to take on and off, and made to last! Great for around the house and everywhere! These shoes are offered in three convenient sizes (0-6 months, 6-12 months, and 12-18 months), but be aware that these shoes run large. Karis at 18 months of age is in the 6-12 month size, so definitely compare with the use of their sizing chart. Plus Heidi donates 5% of all her profits to the International Justice Mission.

As a way to promote and support her creative small business, we are offering a giveaway of one pair of bugaloo shoes of your choice!

To enter the giveaway:

1. Simply visit Bugaloo Kids and choose your two favorite pairs of shoes.

2. Come back and share your favorites in the comments below.

3. To be added twice, share about this giveaway on your blog and come back and provide a link to your specific post about it.

Also, please check out their newsletter! You can simply submit your e-mail address on the bottom left hand corner of their website and receive their occasional newsletters.

Giveaway has ended.

Giveaway open to USA and International participation.

Since I’m due with a girl in just a couple months, I’d have to say that the Bluebirds and Gabrielle are my two favorites. But I love the Clive for boys too!

  2. Wendy Nov 15, 2008 at 10:10 pm #

I like sneakers – no laces to actually tie up, yet they look so grown up, & George – our son always says “oooo oooo” They would suit his personality perfectly!

  3. shorty Nov 15, 2008 at 10:10 pm #

Those shoes are awesome! I like the dash and the sneakers, although it is very very hard to pick only two, they are all so cute! I hope her business does well!

Very cute shoes. I like the Leo Dash and Quackers oh that was 3. Really I like them all.
The girls ones are really cute as well but we have a baby boy so right now I am looking for the boys things.

  7. Ema Nov 15, 2008 at 9:23 pm #

All the shoes are adorable. I love the Mary Janes but I saw they are out of stock, Ellie and Gabrielle are also adorable (my baby girl is in the 6-12 months range if we are lucky enough to win). Thank you for sharing this great resource for quality baby shoes.

    Hi Lindsay,
(Since I’m posting I figured I should confess I’ve been lurking for a long time now. :) Thank you for all of the wonderful, thoughtful things you share in your blog!)
I love, love these little shoes, and ironically just bought one of the expensive brands for my daughter for the first time today. I should have waited a little longer, I guess. Anyway, I adore the out-of-stock Mary Janes (hopefully back in stock soon), and the little bluebirds are too sweet. I will share this website with all of the moms I know!

I love these shoes! I especially liked the bluebirds and the Gabrielle. Very sweet for my little girl!

I love the pink kitty and the adorable mary J shoes. Too cute! Also, who can beat the price? Thank you SO MUCH for working on making more affordable and adorable shoes for our munchkins!

I love Clive & George for my newest nephew! I wish these had been around 4 years ago when my son was a baby! Best wishes to Heidi and her new endeavor.

  18. Adrienne Nov 15, 2008 at 7:35 pm #

The Quackers and Ellie shoes are adorable – I know my little girl would love the duck shoes the most. She has this thing for ducks. :) Thanks!

  19. Erin Nov 15, 2008 at 7:34 pm #

I love all of these…it was very hard to choose…but I think I pick Bluebirds and Ollie for girls. So adorable!

I like Quackers and Freddie. Ha! How cute. We don’t have kids (yet), but baby shoes come pretty much to the top of my list as a baby shower gift. Everybody gives clothes or blankies – give ‘em shoes! :-) I also really like that they can just be thrown in the wash if they get dirty. Now THAT’s practical!

  22. angel Nov 15, 2008 at 6:42 pm #

Kitty and Gabrielle. My baby girl is just starting to stand so we’ll be needing soft soled shoes soon

  23. Lorrie Nov 15, 2008 at 6:32 pm #

I was just thinking today that I needed to get my little guy some new shoes. He has outgrown the ones he has now. I am glad that I did not buy him any while shopping today. My 2 favorites are Owen and Clive.
I wish my daughter could still wear them. Maybe I will have another girl someday. I am planning to buy some for a shower gift.
I am also planning to post this giveaway on my blog. I will return with a link to it soon.

  24. Julie A Nov 15, 2008 at 6:30 pm #

So cute! Wow I like them all! Since I have to pick 2 favorites, Eddie the Elephant ones are just adorable and, the Clive ones are just so cute too! She is very talented!!!

  25. Jenny Bouton Nov 15, 2008 at 6:26 pm #

I love the shoes! I’m always looking for ways to keep my little ones’ feet warm (I have three pairs of feet to look after). My favorites are Robyn and Ellie.

  27. Mandy Nov 15, 2008 at 6:14 pm #

I love the Mary J.’s and the bluebirds. Those are very cute shoes.

  28. laura Nov 15, 2008 at 5:45 pm #

I love Francis and Quackers (and all the others too)! These are SO adorable and I LOVE that you can machine wash them!

Do you know where they’re made by any chance?

  29. Michelle Nov 15, 2008 at 5:34 pm #

The sneakers and Francis/Freddie ones are my favorite, they seem the most unisex, would be great for passing on to other kids in the family or in other families. Our baby is due in late April and we don’t know whether its a girl or boy, so either of these would work! They seem to be a great bargain.

  30. Ann Nov 15, 2008 at 5:30 pm #

I liked Eddie and Robyn. These are sooo reasonable compared to Bobux/Robeez. Wish I’d known about them a few months ago when I got a pair for my daughter. Fortunately they were on sale…

  31. Meagan DeLong Nov 15, 2008 at 5:23 pm #

These are so cute! I absolutely love the Mary J and kitty ones!

  32. heather Nov 15, 2008 at 4:58 pm #

I love the songbird (Sammie) for girls and the Owl (Ollie) for boys. I have 3 boys and 1 girl and your cousin has done a great job! It’s hard to find cute and affordable children’s clothing. I especially love the fact that part of her proceeds go to fighting childhood slavery! Way to go! May the Lord bless her business for His Glory! I will be telling my siblings and friends about this great business.

  33. Sharmista Nov 15, 2008 at 4:20 pm #

Mary j. and Bluebirds. I LOVE those Mary J’s!! Adorable!!! They would be so so cute on my little darlin’.

  34. Erica Nov 15, 2008 at 3:29 pm #

My favorites are Robyn & Bluebirds. I love the cut work on the bluebirds design, and the stitching/colors of Robyn. Ollie is also very cute.
    What a lovely shop!

  35. Willow Nov 15, 2008 at 3:22 pm #

I think Dash and Freddie are my favorites! Too cute, and what a cool thing to have baby shoe priced reasonably!!

  36. DeAnna Nov 15, 2008 at 3:18 pm #

Love them all!!! I love the Bluebirds for a little girl and the Freddie for a little boy. My girls are too big right now for these, but Lord willing we hope to adopt again and I will definitely have to remember this site. Can’t believe how inexpensive they are!!

Oh, wow. I can only choose two favorites? These are so cute! Your cousin is certainly gifted. I have to say that I love “dash” and “clive” especially. Thanks for hosting this giveaway. ; )

  40. Erin Nov 15, 2008 at 2:54 pm #

I love the Bluebirds and Sammie designs. I have two girls, and my 6 month old daughter will love these…or at least, I know every one will compliment her shoes!
I appreciate your blog, its great!

  41. AEdmonds Nov 15, 2008 at 2:47 pm #

So, don’t know if I am allowed to be entered into the contest anyway…but I’ll give some feedback to Heidi anyway;-). I love the Ellie and Robyn shoes…still have not gotten around to buying some. Cute, cute, cute.

  42. Tami D Nov 15, 2008 at 2:43 pm #

I like Gabrielle and Mary J the best, although there are lots of cute designs. These would be perfect for our little girl! Thanks for having the giveaway!

  44. Shannon Nov 15, 2008 at 2:34 pm #

The “Quackers” and the “Sammie” are just too cute! I wish these were around a year ago when my daughter could still fit into them. I know my niece or nephew would LOVE a pair… I’m definitely going to use these as gifts!

  45. Allyson Nov 15, 2008 at 2:19 pm #

My favorite are Robyn & Ellie, but they are all so cute. So much cuter than the brands carried in stores for outlandish prices. I think these two are my favorite because they could easily be used for a boy or girl.

  46. Erica Nov 15, 2008 at 2:11 pm #

OK, these are too stinkin cute! I actually ordered 3 pair…they’ll make great gifts and it seems everyone I know is pregnant…I ordered Own (in 2 sizes) and bluebird…so I guess those are my favorites. If I win the drawing, I’ll be happy to pick one pair for myself for the baby we hope to pregnant with soon!

  47. anne Nov 15, 2008 at 1:55 pm #

    I can’t believe they’re only $15!!

I love Ollie & Robyn and have a feeling my bird-loving daughter would too :)

  48. Laura Nov 15, 2008 at 1:50 pm #

wow! first to comment, i think- i love these shoes! please enter me in the contest- i love the George and Owen shoes. as well as the others. but those are my favorite. thanks for sharing information about the shoes, i will definately order when my son outgrows his expensive Robeez (which we bought only as a last resort) i could actually afford more than one pair!

  49. rachel crisman Nov 15, 2008 at 1:41 pm #
