I am reading this book right now too. I heard Sally and her daughter Sarah speak at our home school conference in June. It was really awesome and I felt like God had sent me right there just to hear her! Their book on homeschooling is really good too if you are considering that in the future. It is one of the better ones I have read on that and it incorporates schooling as part of the family as a whole and not a separate entity. I've been enjoying your blog, even though I rarely comment.

I've been enjoying your site and the helpful tips you've given as I'm trying harder to have my family live a healthy lifestyle -- but doing so frugally. Anyway, I'm so excited that you're doing a book study with this book. I just started this book and I'm very excited about what God is going to teach me through it. I'll have to go back to chapter one and read it again (I've only read 2 chapters anyway) so I can join in on this.

For some reason, I wasn't able to comment on your last post about canning, but WOW to how much you were able to can. We just picked apples off of my parents 1 apple tree yesterday. We're trying to figure out what kind of apples they are now, the tree was there when they bought the house and never does well, but this year it was full of beautiful apples!! I'm excited about trying my hand at canning. Good to hear you used rapadura for the applesauce, I was trying to decide which natural sweetener would work well in canning. Ok, sorry, I'm a chatterbox.... looking forward to hearing others thoughts on this book.
