The ultrasound came out relatively normal, no stones. But there was a grey shadow near the liver. I'm having a cat scan on Tuesday to rule out a tumor. Dr thinks it's nothing to be worried about. I'm not too concerned at thpoint.

Thanks for the book recommendation! I'll look into it. I'm not sure if I have stones or not, usually if they fond something they say wait a minute while i have this read. this time they didn't. Unfortunately, the last few times I had one, they read it right away. I'm hopeful it's not gallstones. And my dr said if I had a lot of stones I would have to go to surgery asap, danger being that one could go and lodge in the liver.

I am on a pill for heartburn, and it seems to be working for the time being. It took over a week to even really take effect.

With pregancy, I always seemed to get siatic issues - it would happen when I bent over to pick things up, especially later term. Not fun. Isn't it amazing what we will endure to have children?

I had gall bladder issues after my 4th child was born. I was dismissing it as heartburn. I called my OB's nurse to find out what I could take for relief while nursing. She told me that gall stones often present themselves as awful heartburn. I was getting terrible heartburn for a good hour or so after every meal; even water would do it. The nurse also said that gall stones can be accentuated by pregnancy hormones. I ended up doing a natural gall bladder cleanse (that helps you pass the stones) and have not had a problem since. I got the remedy through a book called "Cleansing or Surgery." Thank God that He led me to read this book to find this remedy. Surgery isn't always the answer ...

I just had an ultrasound on my gallbladder yesterday, right after my root canal. What a day. No results yet. My mother had hers out around (33 just last thursday. My dr isn't sure but I'm being treated for GERD right now. so I can totally relate to the chest pain!

Any REALLY good home remedies for heartburn? My dr mentioned baking soda and water.

We didn't find out the gender of 2 of our babies. I had a horrible twin with my twins (full blown bedrest at 4 1/2 months), and even had an amnio done. And at that time we agreed to find out what we were having. And I loved talking to the baby and using their names. I never tried to guess the sex, I didn't want any "gender confusion" later in life.

It was a good summer wasn't it! God is so good. I must admit I am having a bit of a pity party right now. My husband is a teacher and has gone back to work. It's such a blessing to have him home during the summer. It takes awhile for the girls and I to adjust to his absence. Although I miss him greatly, I am so very thankful he has a job. So I'm just going to have to pull up my "big girl panties" and get to work...with a cheerful heart. Your blog has helped me greatly in that area. I love knowing there are other dedicated wives and moms who want to do their best in the eyes of the Lord. I will be praying for your painful condition. I too have very painful pregnancies. It is hard to be cheerful and get things done when you are in pain. This too shall pass. God bless you as you enter the best time of year...Autumn!

I found your blog recently and wanted to take a minute to tell you what an inspiration it is to me! I have enjoyed going back and reading some of your past entries. It has renewed my spirit. You seem like such an intelligent and articulate person. It is refreshing to see someone trying so hard to live their life for the Lord and instill that in their children. Thanks for sharing with us! :)
