Drumroll please….well, you probably already figured it out…I kind of gave it away, I was just too excited..but yes, it is true. God is graciously blessing us with another gift of life, due to arrive, Lord willing, around the middle of March. Praise the Lord!
Karis is calling all her friends to tell them the great news that she is going to be a big sister!
I am thankful for the opportunity to cherish another little blessing, but am currently experiencing the joys of being a very tired mommy! I knew I was pregnant when I could actually take a nap (falling asleep that is)- I never can outside of being pregnant! 
We are grateful that God has chosen to entrust us with another soul to raise and nurture in the love and admonition of the Lord! We are weak and undeserving…only by His grace and strength can we accomplish such a high and holy task!
Psalms 127:3-5
“Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.”
That is what we are thankful for this week!

Big congratulations to you all.
Can I recommend a book for Karis… “What’s inside your tummy, Mummy?” by Abby Cocovini. It has great life size pictures to hold up to your tummy so they can see what the baby looks like and how it is developing. My girls (4 and 2) love it.(I am 4 weeks away from having number 3) and it has helped them realise that there really is a baby in there!

Congrats! I have recently come to grasps with how wonderful and amazing that a healthy pregnancy is. My experiences has made me treasure my little boy even more. What wonderful news! How have you been feeling. I found your wonderful site a few months ago so I do not know your journey and story with your first sweet little one. did you by chance use midwifery care and /or have a homebirth? I am a homebirth midwife so curiosity gets the best of me.

We did use a midwife and have a homebirth with Karis and it was a simply wonderful experience (especially since she was breach, and the Lord was graciously covering the whole situation). It was a blessing especially since our midwife actually delivered 4 of my younger siblings, so she is now delivering my mom’s grand babies!

That’s such great news, Lindsay!
I remember that it was much more tiring being pregnant with a toddler running around already, but it was also so nice that since I was already an at-home mom (instead of working full-time, as I did during my first pregnancy), so that I could stop and read and simplify when I needed to.
Having a second baby is so fun, because not only are you excited, but you get to enjoy your child’s anticipation of a sibling! I just loved seeing Abbie talk about our new baby and kiss my belly- so much fun! And once they arrive, talk about being showered with love and kisses and not-so-gentle “hugs”! It was the best- you’ll love it!

Hi! Congratulations on the baby news! Very exciting! Also, I found your recipe for home made deodorant. I cannot use regular deodorant because it makes me have a very itchy rash under my arms, so I buy special deodorant. As I live in Mozambique, I can only get it in America or South Africa. And just last week my deodorant ran out. I remembered seeing your post and thinking “I wouldn’t do that! I buy it and that is just fine.” Well, I made some up, and the ultimate test was seeing how a day would go. It is HOT here, and I do sweat in this heat. Normally a reapply deodorant atleast a second time durring the day here. Well, I spent 2 days working out in the sun and running around, and didn’t have to reapply at all! Just once in the morning was enough, and it works great! Thank you!

I am so excited for you! Children are so wonderful. I had my second child with a midwife and it was a wonderful experience!!! Don’t try to do to much, rest when you need to. I also got pregnant when my little girl was 1 year old. It can be difficult but very fun!!

Congratulations! This is really neat. I’m expecting my first the first week of February! I’m glad that your posts will include information about homebirth and natural pregnancy. That’s where my heart is at and what I’m trying to do! I have a long way to go, but I’m taking baby steps all the time.
