Hi Kristi,
There is beneficial bacteria in the raw milk (that's the only difference between raw milk and pasteurized milk). Try probiotic supplements; there are studies about the connection between bacteria and skin. I like PB8 because it has a minimum of ingredients (I have horrible reactions to dyes), but you can experiment and see what works for her.

I am really wanting the sweet scent. Mine doesn't have a scent at all. Is there a particular brand that has the sweet scent of coconut?

If you are just using it on your skin, it doesn't really matter what brand or variety it is. But if you want to eat it, you will want to use an unrefined version.

I purchased my first bottle of CO today. I have been rubbing my whole family with it today. :) However, it doesn't have a sweet scent. This is "Pure Coconut Oil". Should I purchase an extra virgin type? Or should I just try another brand? Any suggestions?

I read that coconut oil is antibacterial, given that fact...what do you think of using it for acne? Maybe a long shot, but I'm pregnant now and can't use the stuff I used to use to get rid of acne....and nothing else works....and I'm more broken out now than I've ever been! I was thinking of using it to wash my face (a friend of mine said she used to use olive oil as a facial cleanser).

just wanted to make sure, I am talking about all forms of coconut oil, as long as it hardens, its bad, no matter how you refine it, its always saturated (which is bad), unless u mix it with high density lipoprotein which still doesn't make it very healthy.

Im Fijian, so I love coconut oil, but i wouldn't recommend eating or cooking with it, its very fatty, stick to olive oil for cooking as it is thinner, and its been proven that the thicker the product, the more the bonds are saturated, aka saturated fats, and unsaturated fats like olive oil will clear arteries and is better for you, and another thing, you can test this theory, as low density lipo proteins are bad for you, they will sink in water, and high density lipo protiens (the good stuff) will float in water. BTW, I'm a medical student and just worried prolonged use of coconut oil for cooking can lead to lots of (cardiovascular) heart problems, so please be cautious.
kk sorry to rant and run, but I got to go.
xox
P.s My family use hot oil treatments with coconut oil, as its so fatty its good for skin and hair, heat in microwave, till its warm, (not hot) just warm, massage in to hair, leave over night either rapped in scarf over your hair, for your pillow, or leave it unwrapped, if you have a spare pillow case on it, then wash it out in the morning with shampoo, it will leave it soft, shiny and nourished.

Along with the deodorant is a bit of RAW honey...it has anti-bacterial elements and it produces a sweet smell when you perspire.
