Thanks for every­one who shared sug­ges­tions for our teething trou­bles. We really just had to wait it out. Not much suc­cess with any Hyland’s prod­ucts, unfor­tu­nately. She was up for two hours during the night for three nights in a row. Really strange. She would just cry or want to play around. I was start­ing to worry that she was get­ting into the habit of waking up again. I had to keep remind­ing myself: this too will pass! I am learn­ing to stop wor­ry­ing about devel­op­ing bad habits, if I have to hold her a lot (making use of my ergo), and just trust that it will pass. Indeed it does!

This was her second batch of teeth, as she already had the bottom two, but it was a whole lot easier last time around. Just today I started seeing glimpses of my sweet Karis coming back! I am so thank­ful for her sweet smile and abil­ity to enter­tain her­self on the floor while I cooked in the kitchen. What a blessing!
