Thanks for everyone who shared suggestions for our teething troubles. We really just had to wait it out. Not much success with any Hyland’s products, unfortunately. She was up for two hours during the night for three nights in a row. Really strange. She would just cry or want to play around. I was starting to worry that she was getting into the habit of waking up again. I had to keep reminding myself: this too will pass! I am learning to stop worrying about developing bad habits, if I have to hold her a lot (making use of my ergo), and just trust that it will pass. Indeed it does!
This was her second batch of teeth, as she already had the bottom two, but it was a whole lot easier last time around. Just today I started seeing glimpses of my sweet Karis coming back! I am so thankful for her sweet smile and ability to entertain herself on the floor while I cooked in the kitchen. What a blessing!
God provides the strength to get through each new challenge!

Glad that your teething round is over. My little boy who is almost 10 months seems like he has been teething FOREVER! He just got in 2 more bottom teeth a couple weeks ago, that makes 6 altogether and now he’s working on 2 more top teeth. I feel so bad for them. Sometimes it seems like nothing helps!
