LOVE this tip and can't wait to try it! I have been wanting a small volume blender for smoothies and smaller recipes, but didn't want to spend the extra money. So glad to know now that I don't have to!

I love the idea. I too have the Magic Bullet and a coffee grinder. I have mason jars and I would like to see if it will fit on the Vita Mix blener. If I didn't have all these other gadgets, this would be the perfect solution to a grinding, mixing problem. Thanks.

Wow! What a cool tip. :D I actually wanted to do something like this today. I needed to grind up some flax seeds. I ended up using the coffee grinder, but this is wonderful idea! I'm going to try it!

What a great tip! I love it! I especially like the fact that there's little to no waste since it's already in the jar. That's just awesome. :)

Thanks so much for sharing this tip with us!

WOW! I didn't realize that you could use a jar! I guess I thought that it would explode or something with it not being "made" to go with the blender in the first place.

Great tip! Going to have to try it! :)

What a great tip! You would think blender companies would promote this feature more with their product. This is really handy!
