I'm not sure if I follow your question. I buy orange juice concentrate to add to smoothies, but that is really the only juice I buy from the store. Otherwise, you could easily juice in a blender. You would just have to strain it afterwards if you didn't like the pulp.

Do you buy juice? What is a good alternative without having to buy a juicer to make your own juice of the basic fruits? Maybe something for just citrus fruits? Thank you for your advice with this!

No, I personally don't use a juicer anymore but rather use the whole fruits in our smoothies. It worked great while I used it though!

Thanks!

Is this juicer easy to clean? I know that's a big problem with a lot of them.
My midwife has told me that if I want to tantum nurse through my pregnancy she wants me to drink fresh juice daily. So, I need something easy to clean.

I have a Breville juicer. One of our favorite recipes is honeydew melon and cucumber. We also love sweet potatoe juice. I have to watch my sugar intake, so I only drink a small amount of the fruit juice. My children love watermelon juice. However, too much of that and they will need the restroom!

That's so great! We love to juice too (we have a Champion, and a Jack Lalanne, I believe). Have fun with your new toy! One of our favorite treat juices is 4 green apples (tart), 1 lime or lemon (we usually cut off some of the peel, but leave some on as well), and a bunch of fresh mint. Add to glasses of seltzer or club soda. :)

I would love to have one of these. It would help me get my husband to eat more fruits and vegetables too! :) And homemade juice from fresh fruit looks so much better than the store-bought sugar-filled juice.
