I just wanted to say thank you SO much for sharing this...I live in Southern California in Riverside, and I just placed my first Azure Standard order and picked up yesterday. I saved sooo much money over buying from the health food store and am quite pleased with everything so far. Your list really helped me narrow down what some of the best things are to buy from them, so thank you again! I have a nice starter set of grains now. :)

Today, Texas gets to place our first order for Azure Standard! We have been waiting for this for almost a year. Our San Marocs group is growing like crazy!

For your readers from Texas, Azure will be delivering to parts of North Texas, Central Texas and around to parts of Houston.

Just wanted to pass this on!

Blessings,
Joanna :)

Thanks Lindsay! Some friends & I ARE planning to go in together on a few things, like they sell 5 Doz eggs for under $3/per dozen, etc..
But on the grains, I'll be splitting 25 lb. bags with just one friend... if I keep making bread at my current rate i think I'll be ok, but otherwise I might nee to order for 6 months! ;o)
I'm curious how often you make bread & which Wholesome recipes are your favorites?
I've really been liking Marilyn Moll's 100% Sprouted Whole Wheat (although I've already been playing with it! Shhhh!

I order once a month with Azure. I find this helps me stay within my monthly budget better than stocking up on larger quantities more infrequently (because then I am tempted to spend more on the off months elsewhere), but definitely do what works best for your family. I have found the best thing to do is find a splitting buddy and divide the larger quantities with them to save money. That is a big help!

I'm wondering how often you order from Azure? I'm about to place my first order & I am SO excited to be getting these 'staples' at such great prices! I'm hoping to only order quarterly (as I have to go pick it up about 25 minutes drive).. Many of the things on your list are currently in my 'shopping cart' & you have a small family, as do I, but I just want to be realistic (I'm really working on trying to cut my food budget dramatically, so IF I'm on target I think it will be in my budget... and I'm trying to share a few things to get the bigger bulk discount...)
Just curious...thanks!
